India’s hammer thrower Damneet Singh is set to compete at the Indian Series-3 on April 11 at JLN Stadium.

Singh began his 2026 season at the Indian Open Throws, registering a lifetime best of 70.64m. In his previous competition, he narrowly missed the national record by just 9cm.

At this meet, he will aim to surpass the national record of 70.73m, currently held by Neeraj Kumar. A strong performance here could establish him among India’s top hammer throwers and set the tone for the season ahead.
