Athletics venues in Los Angeles

The LA Memorial Coliseum will stage 44 of the 48 athletics events. It will also become the first stadium to host Olympic events at three Games, after 1932 and 1984. Meanwhile, the race walks and the marathons are linked to the Venice Beach Boardwalk, where both marathons will start. However, LA28 has not yet announced the full road courses.

The road to Los Angeles

The next two seasons will shape India’s LA 2028 team. First comes the Diamond League 2027, then the World Championships in Beijing in September 2027. After that, the Olympic qualification period will decide who travels to Los Angeles. We will update this page when the session times and the qualification rules are confirmed.
