About Neeraj Chopra

Lieutenant Colonel Neeraj Chopra PVSM VSM is an elite Indian track and field athlete who competes globally in the javelin throw. Widely regarded as India's "Golden Boy", he achieved historic icon status by winning the gold medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, making him the first Indian ever to win an Olympic gold medal in track and field athletics.
