Jayaram’s success on the U23 circuit was the natural continuation of an outstanding junior record. He first announced his talent on the national stage by winning the national junior title in 2022.
He followed that performance with a stellar 2023 season, taking gold in the 100m at the Khelo India Youth Games and claiming victory at the Junior Federation Cup. His explosive speed and consistency earned him a spot in the national relay squad camp for the Asian U20 Championships, marking him as a core prospect for India’s future international sprint squads.

A Legacy That Will Endure

Jayaram’s trajectory represented years of disciplined training, dedication, and the steady pursuit of excellence on the track. His passing leaves an irreplaceable void in Indian track and field, particularly within the sprinting community that followed his career with high expectations.

“His races and achievements were not just numbers on a score sheet; they were milestones in a journey that inspired coaches, teammates, and fans across the country.”

We extend our deepest condolences to Jayaram’s family, friends, coaches, and teammates during this extremely difficult time. His drive, speed, and contribution to Indian athletics will be remembered.
